ARKRAY has been committed to our mission of solving social issues and contributing to the sustainable development through all of our business activities under our corporate philosophy: “Contribute to the health and well-being of people all over the world through the advancement of science and the discovery of new technologies.”

The accelerating progress of science, technology, and globalization since the Industrial Revolution has brought about major changes in people’s lives and society, resulting in the prosperity that we enjoy today.
On the other hand, we must be aware of the resulting social issues, including global environmental issues such as the climate crisis and resource depletion, economic inequality, and human rights issues such as discrimination.

The “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, which was adopted at the UN General Assembly in 2015 with a focus on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), pledges to build a society with “no one left behind”, in which everyone enjoys a prosperous and fulfilling life in the future. ‌As the world accelerates toward solving social issues, the role that companies should play as public institutions is increasing daily.

In 2021, ARKRAY specified the “SDGs Basic Policy”, to manifest our commitment in response to such social demand, and to focus on more specific activities.

We believe that our commitment to sustainability and our social responsibility (CSR) rest on “contributing to the health and well-being of people all over the world” through the provision of better products and services, while building good relationships with various stakeholders as a corporate citizen.
